When my sister separated from her husband she had no job and nowhere to live. I told her she could live with me. I even got her a job at my office filing. The next thing I know one of the girls in accounting is moving and my sister in line for a promotion. She would be filing as well as training for the next month, as the boss wanted to see how well she was suited for the job before offering it to her. For the next month, I tried to teach her as many things as possible at work and home. We always brought work home, but she was not picking it up fast enough, and I would just end up doing her work for her. Mistakes kept piling up, which affected my job. I honestly felt like she was trying to sabotage my job. Finally, I told her that if she did not become organized it was going cost me my job. Days later, my job is on the chopping block, (I was being laid off) and my sister is offered the promotion, which she accepted. She would be training for another 2 months. I was given the same amount of time to find another job.
That weekend my sister packed up and moved in with her daughter. Obviously, this destroyed our relationship. I could not stand having to work with her anymore. We did not talk. She was on her own. Then the girl in accounting decided to stay and my sister was back to filing. At the same time a position opened that was offered to me. Shortly after that, my sister gave notice and moved back with her husband. We have not spoken for over three years. She lives out of town so I just put her out of mind until now. My brothers son is getting married next month and all of our family will be there. All these years I hardly gave her a second thought, its been easy. However, negative feelings are cropping up again. I know having no contact was the right thing for me. Now I am not sure I even want to attend the wedding. I want nothing to do with her but I dont know how to handle it. I dont need my family giving me a hard time over it, either any suggestion?

I am 20 and turn 21 in dec i have a 2 yr old daughter i am a single mom to and her father pays child support and maybe a occassional visit. i am in school for nursing and business and am 3 semesters away from graduating. i have a great job and am making 50k a yr. i own a house and when me and the guy i been with got engaged i decideded to rent it and move in with him cause im pregnant. i am not a typical single mom i have goals and want to do well for me and my children. i met some one and planned on getting married. i switched birth controls and got pregnant an am currently pregnant. he acts happy but then i know he is sleeping around and i really feel is using me for my money. i confronted him and he backhanded me and kicked me out of my truck. all the furniture is mine and when i got their he handed me a bag and said nine tenths of law is possessions and i have to show receipts. i have thousands of dollars worth of furniture laptops and even a receipt for my daughters crib. i was able to get it but it still hurts dramatically to know he does not love me and know the truth and seen what he has done. we are over with and will not get back together i feel horrible and just at a loss of words to have to raise 2 kids on my own. i wanted things so badly to work out between us and i really did try. i know it is goign to be extremely hard to raise 2 children. i know that i have lots of self respect for myself that maybe another guy wont see that. im not even really worried about the dating cause im concentrating on my children and betterig my life. my question is do you know anyone who has had 2 children and doing fine and well. any advice is welcomed thanks.

Hi, everyone. Theres this thought that Ive had for a while, and I was wondering if someone (or several people) could help me with it. Like the question says, I was wondering if I should talk to this boy that I like when I return to school, but only if I see him again. And along with this question, I have other things to mention and ask.
Well, first of all, the boy I liked was very quiet and didnt interact with my classmates in P.E. often. But there were some times of when we spoke to each other. The boy and I are at the same age, and since we were in the P.E. class, we were also partners most of the time for a certain P.E. activity. But although I liked him, I had usually pretended to ignore him because of my nervousness around him. That was something that I wish I didnt do earlier, and I wish that I talked to him rather than pretend to ignore him.
But although I ignored him, there was a time when he came up to me for something (and that was being partners for a game), and I gladly agreed to it. There also was a time (days later after he asked me to be his partner) where he stood next to me before we went to our next class. Now that was something he didnt usually do; he usually just stands a few feet away from me after P.E. class ends. But during that time, it was if he wanted to tell me something. What do you guys think? But I was confused and surprised that time that I didnt ask him or anything. I just left (which was a pretty bad move) for my next class.
I also attempted to give him a letter that I wrote for him (which was corny, but I wanted to write him a letter), but I failed, and that was during the last day of school (a month ago). And because I failed, I grew distressed and couldnt think clearly for a few days because of it. But I eventually talked it out with one of my parents and got better. Thank goodness.
Now, next month, there will be a school orientation. And since hes at the same age as me, there may be a possibility that I might see him there. Now heres the actual part of the question: If I see him at the orientation, should I talk to him? And somehow apologize for how Ive acted around him? Such as ignoring him? (There mightve been a possibility that he liked me too, but Im not so sure.) Also, what is the best way to approach him if I see him?
